Risk Communication

Who is best to lead the conversation?

undefinedAnyone can lead the conversation about resilience and climate change, but the best messengers to each individual person is someone they respect. Peers, neighbors, friends, family members, and those they hold with trusted esteem.[1]

The conversation can be led by multiple people, in fact. The more voices, the more likely one may resonate with residents. Additionally, numerous voices repeating a consistent message also helps community members take the information to heart and may make them more likely to participate or make changes on their own.
